This had me intrigued! A fun and weird little game!

Yello!

Just some feedback after playing the game.

-The title screen was very cool, but the new game etc window placement was a bit weird, IMO.

-The game's vibe was immaculate. The music, art, and dialogue all worked together really well and immediately drew me into the story. It kinda felt like a dream or that surreal  feeling you have at 2 in the morning.

-While I liked the idea of the body transfer minigame, the execution was a bit clunky. I would have liked to be able to drag and drop stuff with my mouse. I know RPG Maker can be finicky, but still would have been nice.

-Overall, very enjoyable short game! Definitely interested in seeing a longer game in a similar style.

Beautiful presentation and a nice, visual novel approach to exploration and progression! This game's style reminds of the time I tried using RPG Maker 2003 to make a point and click as well (Justice and Inquiry), though you using a Maker with actual mouse control options helped it turn out much better than what I'd made!

The story became involving very quickly. Reimah is extremely likeable as a protagonist, especially with her beleaguered attitude and frustration with overwork. Seeing her story through was motivating enough for me to finish the surgery puzzle, which is the type of puzzle I'm usually too squeamish to look at.

I was concerned that the minimal amount of conventional gameplay elements would cause the game to become tiresome, but I actually became thankful for how it allowed the story to flow with minimal interruption. I do feel the game might benefit from some adventure game puzzles in the normal environment (like needing to have a proper sequence of events before progressing, such as dressing Reimah before she can leave or packing the meds into the briefcase herself), but I can see how that might lead to unfortunate "needle in a haystack" scenarios of clicking randomly in hopes of finding an obscure object. As it is, the point and click gameplay works well.

I enjoyed it as a visual novel with a relatable protagonist and fun yet gruesome twist!

I absolutly loved this! The artwork and sound design pulled me in and kept me engaged for the whole thing. An -incredibly- moody piece. It felt a little short - less cut short and more missing some connective tissue, but thats a game jam time limit for you; what is here felt very focused and polished. The gameplay was a little slow on account of having to pan the cursor around all over the place hunting for interactables, and the two puzzles felt a little slow as well on the same account. (The design of the puzzles felt fine, it was just the means of interacting with it that held them back).

I enjoyed this one a lot!

This was a great story! Shame there isn't more. The actual gameplay was a little cumbersome for me. I think it would have worked better with a mouse plugin.

I got confused with the itchio uploading process, so I reuploaded my initial submission as "GamejamVer" after accidentally overwriting it & the updated ending version is simply "Contraindication".

You can see the timestamp for the files in GamejamVer to confirm it was submitted before the deadline, I'm sorry for the mishap TT_TT
