Hey, how much of the game needs to be randomly  generated/procedurally generated  to qualify as a roguelike for the purposes of this jam? For instance, would non-random (preset) levels but random/proc gen'd enemies and treasure be acceptable?

A roguelike doesn't necessarily have to use procedural generation its mostly just a trait many use, preset worlds are allowed.

I think that for it to be a Roguelike it has to have replayability . Which usually is archived generating new maps every time.  That way it prevents the player from learning the map and so it presents a new challenge every time. If you can archive a similar feeling of challenge every time you generate those items or monsters to help or fight the player it does not really matter if the map is randomly generated or not.

What you also can do is something like Risk of rain where there are premade maps but they come in a random order.
