Very interesting, some notes.
After dying, enemy hitboxes seem to stay, so they can end up blocking bullet
The way the hitboxes for attacks seem to work, you seem to be able to swing melee weapons around you during the animation to hit more enemies, if this is the case, there isnt really a problem, you can leave that as a skill based technique, just wanted to mention it.
I also found a few doors that wouldnt let me move on to the next room
