I really love the Unyielding ability! It's such a cool twist on the rules to make your tokens less appealing targets, it'll make them harder to destroy and less of an easy point.
The two different ways to score points is also really unique, revealing item cards that you could craft to score one point is really cool and thematic. And scoring where you have large concentrations of pieces really fits the swarm theme.
The drawing is really interesting too, I can't quite picture if it would make it easy for them to get lots of cards or not, but maybe it's a bit of a challenge as you want to have your swarm tokens with your warriors.
And of course, the idea of a swarm of ants animating clockwork animals is just really good! So creative and perfectly fits the theme!
This faction is brilliant and one of the clearest to understand that I've gone through so far.
Feels very unique, some really interesting twists on Root mechanisms and I love the concept of scrap pawns.
My one worry was all the tokens lying about for easy points then I saw you'd factored that in with just 1VP for removing the last token in a clearing.
So well thought out and creative. Tied with The Rot Within for my favourite faction and one I'd really love to play and test out. Great job!
And did you make the art yourself? If so, what did you use? It's fantastic
Thank you so much ! For character art I based it on Kyle's Ferrin artwork for the Mechanical Marquise 1.0 that I modified and added upon using procreate. For the tokens and buildings I started from scratch on procreate as well.
Oh nice. Well great work on them - they look very cool and really sell the whole puppeting / scrap pawn angle
I love this idea, it seems very fun and thematic. I have a question, can the scrap paws be attacked? Are they removed if they receive hits?
Thanks for the question! Yes, like the Vagabond pawn, scrap tokens can be attacked, and are removed when they take hits. However, they can be defenseless and in that case, they deal the extra hit instead of the attacker. Lore-wise, you could imagine a warrior being reassigned to trash duty... or dying of tetanus after lunging into a rusty pile of junk.
Oh wow let's see here, I'll get out my checklist:

Absolutely top notch submission, I especially love moving tokens and dealing the extra hit when defenseless. Good stuff and very intuitive. And of course I'm a huge sucker for original artwork :)
