Good lord this stresses me out holy shit, it is really fun but extremely intense; like more intense than most competitive games.
It really reminds me of type racer but with the bonus feature that you have to manage all your stats and figure out which search will give what stat, super fun!

I would like to give some critisism or suggestion but I actually can't, its good as it is.

thankyou! glad you enjoyed the game

well, my original intent was to make the game super chill to play,
but i guess i kinda failed to give the player that chill vibe, lol
everyone's going as fast as possible (me included)

haven't heard of typeracer before,
that competitive typing game sounds fun!

I was pleasantly surprised by this! Also the Take A Break feature was a perfect. Well done

thankyou!

lil trivia: the break session initially was going to be a 'shopping' feature where you can trade stuff (like trade 1 cash for +1 in other stats) but i scrapped it due to time constraints. but instead of ditching it entirely, i decided to just turn it into a place you could rest your fingers for a while.

Really phenomenal game and execution. The polish was very good, I really liked the combination of a typing game and roguelike.

Developer

thankyou!
the game was fairly simplistic, so i decided to polish the visual to make up for it lol

There are so many things I like in this game, such as the fact that you are given breaks every 5 searches, the panic of having to not only choose something to type, but figuring out what it's going to raise, and of course the aesthetics.

Developer

thankyou for playing! glad you appreciated the easthetic

OMG. my glob do i love itttttt. i love the concept. i always wanted a typing game that was fun, and that was really fun. Wouldve like a bit more sound effects. And i would've also liked to be able to see how i lost (aka what element went to zero). Like an image of the MC sad, or sick, or broke, or alone (but caricatured...or else it's just sad). And if you get all the stats up to a certain level you get a "overall doing great boost". idk im just rambling. TTThe point is, i like. GooOoOd stuffff

glad you enjoyed the game!
I agree, keyboard typing sounds and a couple of sounds indicating attributes going up & down would've been nice

btw i was going to add the 'MC lose' thing you mentioned and a couple of random MC images chilling in the break session initially, but i decided to ditch those feature entirely because of the time constraint lol. maybe i'll add those stuff later when the time allows
