I can’t believe you made such a robust and fun game from scratch! It’s insane and remarkable! And the art is fantastic! Truly well done! I can’t wait to see more.

A lot of perseverance and glued together code is how!

I really liked those enemy mecha design! As mentioned by others, has a Gurren Lagann vibe to them. Fun concept of controlling both a ship and a giant robot at the same time. I found it a little hard to tell if my awesome giant robot spear is hitting it's target, although a cool ideal to reflect those purple bullets back at my foes.

Good job!

The mecha designs are fun, they kind of gave me a Gurren Lagann vibe. In terms of gameplay, there was actually a good sense of speed and readability from the incoming bullets that helped me stay engaged from start to end. I hope that you continue to build off of this idea and concept, and maybe pull inspiration from other games such as Sin and Punishment which utilizes both range and melee attack in a similar fashion to incorporate onto your design.

Thanks! I definitely am gonna need to take a bit of time away from the game, but I definitely want to come back and "finish" it some time (hence the part 1). I also most certainly need to get around to playing Sin and Punishment.

The presentation is great from the gameplay to the cutscenes.

I had a little trouble setting up the aspect size for my PC but that’s a me problem. Still, fun game and cool art style.
