Title
RMCC 1 (I know, very creative)
Description
I focused more on the "continous progression" bit rather than avoiding repeated chord progressions. I found a new way to write a melody, so I tried that out in the song. I (think) I also imrpoved in my mixing, but you'll be the judge on that one.
I was stuck trying to make something for this jam for multiple days, so I couldn't make something longer this time. Overall I spent about 8 hours on the project after coming up with the initial idea.

The best part is the second (between 0'35" and 0'53"). The flute melody is fantastic and the bouncy piano accompaniment works superbly. In the second passage (at 0'47") you've made a killer harmonic change!
So, the negative point: the strings are a bit loud and less balanced than the rest.
Liked it, the flute lead in the beginning sounded a bit weird for me.
Nice orchestra parts and soft overall sound, I only wish maybe for more variety on the rythm section :)
Heard it 6 times already, it's really beautiful, it resonates with me so much. Wisely orchestrated and designed, a truly great submission! But I don't like orchestra, so I'll tank it, 2/5
It's a nice composition, I really like the sound of the string and the lightheartedness that the piano and flute provide. I agree with the comment regarding reverb, especially for the flute and piano. But overall I think the mix is good, as well as the whole track!
I really enjoyed this one, its soft, beautiful and then it gains some playfulness and is just "cheery" - I really love the piano in the second half. Great job!
Everything sounds great and nicely balanced! Imho some instruments sound a bit dry needing a tad bit more reverb, but that's just my personal taste.
