I had a lot of fun playing around with this game! I do wish I could have made the window a little bigger, it showed up really small and I couldn't make the screen larger. That said, I think you did a really impressive job making this on your own. I also think that you did a great job keeping the project manageable so you could get it to a point where you completed and submitted it. (That's always a struggle for me!)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Yes, the goal was to keep the scope small so I could submit. But I do agree about the screen size! Definitely something I want to work on for future projects.

This is a pretty cool concept. I can see each fish having its own unique minigame to catch it if you decide to continue. Keep up the good work!

Congrats on the first solo game! It can be pretty tough without a team, but it can be fun every now and then :)

Developer

Hey, thank you! I'm just trying to skill up enough so maybe one day I can make a real contribution to a team. :D

3/4 of the screen is grey other then that i like the game!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! When you say the screen is grey, do you mean the plain background where the fish are swimming? Or was something cut off? I did my best to test it once it was uploaded here on itch - but I could have missed something with different machines or just different window sizes.

great work for your first solo project! :) really like the concept, with some more mechanics added it would be super interesting

Developer

Thanks so much! Maybe I'll revive it again one day.

Nice game, especially for a solo project.

I caught every fish, the mechanics for it were interesting and well thought out. I wish there was an ending screen after I caught them all tho ヾ(・ω・`)

I agree - there was so much more I wanted to add but I had to submit early because of a busy work week. But thank you so much for playing it all the way through! I would have loved an ending screen too. A nice little reward for completion!
