Goal
My goal was to release the next demo update! And in order to do that, I needed to:
- finish broken jar model + texture
- fix the pesky building fade bug
- make it so that items no longer fall through counter/table/etc. (z collision calculation?)
tweak/refine narrative for new ghost!
- take screenshots
- make changelog (this is going to be Difficult, I don't even remember what all I've added haha)

Nice. You should make a CHANGELOG from day one or you'll forget.

If you use Version Control (like git) the Commit Messages can help but it's not as good as having an actual CHANGELOG.

Tried to give the harvest ghost the corn, but didn't know how. I lit the candle and I think I gave it to the pink ghost, but could understand what it was saying.

Okay the yellow alien came and gave me a book. I tried to bring it to the ghost looking for a book but didn't know how to give it to him. I tried dropping it at his grave but nothing changed and it seems I have lost the book.

The graphics are pretty good so far. The main character looks like a snail, so I thought it was wierd that it has feet. I'd have made a slime trail instead. Could be easier to animate too.

Oh I just read it's a ghost (medium) too, maybe give it a special effect too like transparency or floating movement.

Hope my feedback helps.

To give items to ghosts, you need to place the items in front of their graves! Interacting with the grave from the front and selecting the rightmost icon will auto-place the item where it needs to be. The green/pink ghost is supposed to be hard to understand, it's related to the reasons they died and their story has more context clues! As for the problem with losing the book - items can clip through (some) objects, such as the gravestones, at the moment. In the version you played, dialogue took priority over item interaction, which could result in dropped items becoming inaccessible. The priorities should be fixed in the update I just uploaded, so you shouldn't be able to lose items anymore! Thanks for letting me know about that!

Ghasty (the main character) is a snail monster, not just a snail! They wear boots specifically so that they don't track slime around the house ^^ They're also not a ghost - a medium is a living person who can communicate with the dead! The ghosts aren't visible to most people in the town! But thank you for the suggestions, and I may keep a slime trail in mind for some future cutscenes/events planned :D

Ah, I remember putting the items behind the grave, that could be the reason.

Boots so that there is no slime trail everywhere does seem like a good idea when I think about it. XD
