Nice little game, made with Godot? :)
Maybe you cound use particles to create the flame. in this way you can make it react to the wind direction.
I made 24 as my top score!

Nice mechanic. Got score 36 (browser version). I like the pixel art. The music loop could be longer, and the challenging part could start sooner.
