Very fun game. I included it in my PowerPoint Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

How this was done in PowerPoint I have no idea but this was quite enjoyable as an arcade get to the end type game that you would find on a mobile game. I love the audio and the overall aesthetic of it and i'm very impressed with the animations (Show me how you did them pls). Really well done. Really hit high with the theme of making something in PowerPoint and with the game design and graphics!

Fun game with great atmosphere, audio and good graphics. Also liked VFX (but it's a part of graphics). Reminds me of mobile games. Really cool!

Thank you! Every part of the game (aside from the audio, which was created from scratch via audacity, and the music being created with Soundation studio something like 2-3 years ago) was created entirely in PowerPoint.

If I had just a little more time, I would have fleshed out the story a little more, but I'll probably fix it later on in development.

Would you like to play my game and provide some feedback?

This game was excellent. Yeah, it's a mouse maze game; and initially I thought "ugh, another one"... but it was really nicely polished. Gameplay elements were introduced one by one; everything was designed well, and it worked great. It was nice and difficult in parts (which I like), and I especially enjoyed the boss fight. I felt much more like I was playing a mobile game , more than a PowerPoint. Great job!

As many others said, its buggy. The platforms specifically. Maybe once the gamejam ends you can port it over to another engine. I really loved the music and sound effects, the concept is nostalgic and reminds me of the minigame Thin Ice from club penguin.

2/10 Gameplay - The platforms dont work properly and make you lose.

8/10 Design - Simple style but still effective.

7/10 Music - The initial sound effects where nostalgic, kinda like the ones in ps2. And the music was not that consistent with that style but was still effective, reminds me of the game Off the balls

0/10 Comedy - I mean, the game is kinda unplayable after the first levels, so if there was clever comedy i cant see it.

4,25 - Overall Score

Thanks for your feedback.

I've mentioned this in discord already, but the reason why the platforms don't work is because you are using PowerPoint 2007. From experience, despite all the features introduced such as advanced shape effects, the new ribbon design, etc..., 2007 is garbage.

In particular, whenever something is given mouseover functionality, and is given a path animation, the collision for the mouseover function doesn't move with the visible shape. This is fixed in 2010 and on.

That is why I stated in the disclaimer that PowerPoint 2010 was the minimum version required for the game to run properly, with 2013 and later being recommended.

Thanks for your time anyways. Sorry you had issues.
