Very nice look & feel!
I wonder if everyone struggles with clock math like I do 🫣

I enjoyed playing this game, it was quite relaxing and made good use of the controls. I think this game definitely has potential and would benefit from more being added to it (maybe some storyline / dialogue?), but that being said, the art and gameplay was very impressive, especially considering the time constraint.

Very fun puzzle game. I like how easy it is to pick up and how fun it is to fix the clock. Just a chill time doing some clock math. I'm a huge fan of the art and sound for this game very enjoyable. I really like how you used the prompt for this challenge.

This is excellent - satisfying to play, excellent use of the crank, and exactly on brief. The art brings it all together into something that feels much more polished than a weekend jam game! I'm definitely interested in seeing this built out into a fuller experience. Well done!

Developer

Thank you that's very kind of you. When the Jam post period is over I'll upload fixes and improvements to this current version. Once it's a stable build I'll start planning out a more detailed game.

the look is so dialed in - so full feeling visually. The ticking noises of the hands as you click them is also well chosen and very satisfying

Even though the instruction was there about AM/PM I still messed that one up, adding something eye-catching for the AM/PM visual change might help with that.

definitely ripe for music if you decide to take it further!

It does need a lot more work in the sound area but yes I was pretty happy with the sounds for the clock hands. I used "jsfxr" which offers create starting sounds with the ability to alter them.  You make a good point about the AM/PM visual, that is something I need to think about, maybe an animated chamber roll effect?

Yeah the chamber roll was the first thing that came to mind and with another good sound effect could add a lot to the physicality

So far I really like this game. I think it could use some music but other than that the visuals and sound design is pretty good. I am also very glad that you give an explanation for what the controls are and the use of the crank overall feels great.

I will say that the explanation for how "slow" a clock is, isn't really clear to me. It would be nice if there was a piece of dialogue that helped to explain more what 24 hour time is and what it means for a clock to be slow.

I would love if there are some other mechanics like completing a certain number of clocks within a time period and ending a shift and maybe even having a story to go along with it where the clock owner tells you to do all these different things and then adds mechanics on top of it. Maybe there could even be clocks that have more than 24 hours or less than 24 hours maybe there's a clock that has AM PM and a new time for some reason. Maybe you have to adjust a digital clock based off of an analog clock. Overall I think there's a lot of ideas that can still be explored with this game if you decide to continue making it.

Totally agree about the explanation of slow time and making it clearer to understand.  Lots to fix and polish after the jam voting. I've got a few ideas to expand the game and I also like your suggestions so I'll add them to the mix,  thanks.

The art on this is so amazingly crisp and clean. Well done.
