  • Amazing gaming! The starting menu page looks rlly cool! The game concept and the execution are done very well. Some feedback could be maybe add a death animation cause right now the character just dies and then it cuts back to the menu page. Also a tutorial would be rlly helpfull cause it took me some time to figure out how to pick up the weapons.

How have you integrated the theme in your game?
We have implemented this concept in several ways. First, instead of following the traditional arena rule, where you win by killing and entertaining the crowd, we inverted it: you win by reaching 100% on the rage meter. The crowd must hate you!

Another approach is in how weapons are used. The main character throws them rather than using them as intended.

We also applied this idea to the narrative. Diogenes is known for rejecting societal rules in ancient Greece, which reinforces the game’s core theme of breaking conventions.

it was very nice and i love the 3d assets although i didnt figure out how to make the people rage and i kept dieing by weapons falling on my head but i like the storyline and the narrator

Without reading the description, I wouldn't have understood how the theme fit into the game. Once reading it, it makes more sense. I liked the 3d visuals, and I don't see that much in game jams, so good job. The gameplay is fun but after I started to understand how to throw things, the one-hit one kill was too easy.

Thanks for the comment, sadly we builded the game in two different pcs, one for the web and other for windows. The web one builded before i realised i didnt add the text IMPEDIMENT over the referee when you throw weapons. The windows version has it so its easier to understand without reading.

Loved the game. I think this is one of the few games to use 3d visuals. Maybe you could have added a final boss fight at the end. Apart from that, really loved it.

The mustache guy in the end is... the... final boss! Thank you for your feedback!

I found the game to be good but it was confusing on how exactly to increase rage. I spent alot of time throwing objects at the referee to increase very little. I also did a run hitting the gladiators. It was... Confusing. Other than that part of it I found the game play to be funny albeit a litte tedious. Good job on the good game!

Thanks for the comment, i understand what you mean and we intend to continue working on it until release and will definetly find a better way to indicate that the Referee blocks the rage cause he denies your actions until you stun him

The narrative was very fun and goofy, loved the opening cutscene. I think some additional things like a quick tutorial could add polish and maybe adjusting the camera movement to be a bit more fluid. Really good concept and very impressive for the jam :D

I really liked the game! The theme with Diogenes makes sense. Loved throwing stuff at the referee. The music was really good and I wish we could lure the enemies to the traps

Fun gameplay loop. Breaking the rules by hitting the referee is very nice for the theme.

This was quite fun, thanks for your hard work :)

Love the gameplay loop. Wish more enemies would spawn, aside from the group attacks that only happened a few times to me. The music was nice and fitting too!
