Food and patterns you got that all in the bag! Using a rhythm game is a good way to use the constraint as part of the mechanics. I lack the skills to play this rhythm game properly but the art, music and mechanics are fantastic. I do think the food piling up on the chopping board makes the next coming beat/note/food hard to see. I Love that the background items jump top to the beat, it adds so much to the atmosphere. 

Music’s a banger! And I love the environment.

But… sorry, I’m going to put some criticism here, but I get put off when I hear no hitsounds at all on a successful note. I guess you faded it out to make the game harder after the introductory phase, but the game became unsatisfying with no hitsounds at all. To me, auditory feedback is important in a rhythm game, so even if I’m perfectly aligned with the beat, I always felt I did something wrong. It’s like playing a rhythm game whilst deaf, even if you can hear the music just fine.
