- Enjoyable game, lends itself to my kind of strategic and economic gameplay. Interesting concept, but little to do with "spreading" once in game. Simple but effective art style. Good variant system, would be interested in playing more

Tell us about your game!
You manage a flock of pigeons and send them out on quests to gather resources and gain influence. The quests you choose determine what headlines you make. It is a mix between resource management and choose your own adventure. The events each turn are randomly generated so no players will experience the same series of news articles.

My partner and artist prefers to remain anonymous. If we do place in any fashion she will gladly join the discord, but prefers the spotlight not to be on them.
Additionally we are submitting under our studio's itch. We are just 2 people who are looking to grow our experience and knowledge as we set out.
Bonus feature: If you like to mod games and download the windows version there will be a readme on how to create your own birds to load them into the game as these are all templates. This originally was a bug with resources not loading, but because of a weird work around we introduced mod support much earlier than intended. Enjoy!

That was so fun! tbh I got so into it I forgot it was a jam game till the "prototype end" message popped up lol Like some others have said more events would be great! Possibly some with high risk/high reward, like you could potentially lose a pigeon but if it succeeds then you get a ton of resources? Also my cats went crazy for the sound effects so they loved it too :)
Why can't I poop on someone's head ? That's the major downside of this game, not allowing it as a quest ahahahah Other than that you got yourselves a nice looking game!

I have now played the pigeon game XD
Awesome work. I liked the concept, the sense of humour and unapologetic avian art style.
I noticed a few UI issues, like the tutorial windows not spawning next to the element they were referring to, and the truly excellent "this button fixes a bug" button! Nothing game-breaking though.
It'd be interesting to see where you can take this. Flocks of marauding pigeons fill the skies. The great Cat Wars of 2024. Nice work, good submission!
