How does your game bring our theme, The Error is the Feature, to life?
The game is modeled after older first-person shooters - most noticeably Quake - and is designed around the use of rocket jumping. There are other behaviors such as bunny hopping and ramp slides that were further modeled around buggy interactions in these games' physics.

Did you include a fake publisher splash screen at the start of your game?

No

Did you use the Audius API in your game?

No

If AI was used in your game, let us know how you used it.
I did not use any AI.

I had a lot of fun with the movement and rocket jumps. Great work getting it all working so smoothly :)

Look I made a new friend :D

Despite its simplicity the game is surprisingly fun. I didn't know I need a fast pace rocket jump fps. Launching yourself with explosion is just so satisfying. That said, there is a lot of polishing needs to be done to make the game stand out, notably level design. Currently you could skip most of the encounter by keep rocket-jumping of walls. Which is cool but kinda downplays the core concept of fps, which is, well, shooting things. But I believe this is a problem caused only by the jam's time constraint, and you would come up with more interesting levels and mechanics with enough time. Looking forward to see this game getting expanded. Good work.

This was a lot of fun, I wish only you had included a timer at the end of the game so that this could be replayed and speedrun. I did a few runs to get the feel of it and it was so much fun. I could see how this could become its own game as the gameplay loop is so satisfying. the big monster at the end was a lot of fun but got stuck on a wall.

The game wasn't very different from a doom clone however and didn't add do anything for the theme integration so I had to drop points fo rthat. I wish there were more "traps" like the lava, requiring finer maneuvering through the level.

Great game, and follows a simple formula that's been proven again and again for being a successful format.

Thanks for the feedback!
Unfortunately, the idea for a timer didn't come to me until the day after the Jam ended. Once the Jam ends, I might make a few changes like adding a timer and a secret counter before anything else.
