How does your game bring our theme, The Error is the Feature, to life?
The developers made an NPC companion that is just a bit too smart and is able to modify the game's code.
Alongside that - They keep overwriting each other's changes, leadng to the game being unplayable, unless the player cooperates with their NPC companion.

Very innovative mechanics. The art is great and I like the sound effects, although there’s only a few of them and it also lacks music.
I really like the concept of the game, but I found the gameplay to be quite clunky. I have to press Enter every few seconds, which covers my view of the level, and slows down the gameplay a lot. It would have been much nicer to play if the command line mechanics live right inside the game view and let the players just directly control it from there. Another nice feature would be that there are shortcuts to the command line that players can quickly use, or even better yet, let them configure those shortcuts themselves. I understand it may not have been possible given the time frame, but maybe you could add it as a post-jam update. I also found that I use almost nothing but the flip guard command and the invert gravity command.
A visual bug I found is that if you complete the level while gravity is inverted, you would start the next level with your sprite inverted.
Overall a pretty solid entry. If you fix up the controls to be less clunky, it could become a very interesting puzzle platformer game.
Thanks!
If we make a post-jam update I will probably make the command line transparent and change its keybind, or maybe make it more of a side panel. I really like the idea of shortcuts as well, so that is something to consider.
The visual bug you mentioned is already fixed in the newest version, but since the voting period is still ongoing it can’t be uploaded, so you gotta wait.
Perfect game. The idea of having a terminal to spawn, invert and other stuffs were really cool for game tester. i really liked the game. The art is also beautiful. Great job
Thank you!
Great game! I really like the art
cute artstyle and interesting idea. I like the games that let you access the console as an ability!
The art looks incredibely cute! I also had a lot of fun while trying to think of ways to clear the levels, good job!
Thank you :>
The art was done by Ventura, and I think they did a great job!
I really adore this concept. The execution is on point and I could see this game expand into a full game with all of the potential mechanics. I would recommend changing the terminal control from mouse clicks to keyboard (maybe let the player actually type in the command) so they don't have to constantly switching the controls. There also should be some rebalancing on the hacks since some of them are way too powerful. But other than that I think this is great.
Typing commands out was the original idea, but without any autocomplete it would be very hard to convey what the player can use. Also I think selecting things the way it is now faster, although I do see the argument for inconvenience.
My original idea was for all commands to have a very niche purpose that you can combine together to get through the levels, but by far the greatest challenge was coming up with commands in the first place.
Also personally I would love to expand this into a full game if my teammates are on board.
Thanks for the feedback :3
Very creative and definetly a good interpretation of the theme. Trying out the different mechanics was fun. At first I only used invert gravity and flip guards, i think for the first two or 3 levels, but later you really had to think for a bit.
There are so many options to manipulate levels. I like it! Also your game a bit similar to ours.
It was honestly kinda difficult to come up with the commands. They had to be something that you can use, but not something that you can abuse to get an instant win button. I wish I added more, but I think that there is a fine selection as is right now.
