Description
This is a chiptune Game Boy soundtrack made using Furnace Tracker, which I also used for music writing. I envisioned it as a game with shmup stages and platforming stages.
Theme
How does it fit the theme?
I think the game is a pretty direct interpretation of both variants of the theme. I've got both the human character from the picture, and then the "sky" part of the verbal theme is conveyed with the dragon flight stages. However, I'm not sure how good of a fit the tracks themselves are to the theme.

I appreciate how faithfully old-school these pieces sound, even down to your naming conventions. Very clear picture of the game this was made for. 'Platforming Stages 2' and 'Ending' are my favorites (especially 'Ending', I love how cheerful it is)
I love your works, i feel a retro aesthetics in it
Dang, this took me back to when I was a kid for a second haha great job! I really liked the platforming stage tracks!
Great work with these! I especially liked "Platforming Stage 2", it had this restrained intensity that was really satisfying. Your pitch material and counterpoint were also really interesting in that one, particularly in the 'A' section.
Thank you. Looking back it's my favorite as well.
Really good tracks! Love the feel, reminds me playing my own pokemon leaf green on the gameboy. Some sounds can be a little harsh at times. Regardless very cool and retro. :)
I'm glad to see people are still using trackers to make music.
I really appreciate these entries that have a vastly different instrumental tone because it can get tiring hearing so many emotional piano and violin pieces.
I also appreciate that it is decidedly videogame-esque since I think that making it sound reasonably like it fits in a video game is important in an OST jam for an imaginary game.
Oh man, these are so good. Really encapsulating that GBC vibe with these tracks. I really loved the instruments used for it as well. Great work! :)
The chiptune sound is literally perfect!
