Impressive stuff in many ways - the motifs and themes are very well expanded upon without losing recognition, the feeling of an old SNES game is captured perfectly, there even seems to be some interesting tuning and/or scale stuff in some places (?? i don't have much ear training so can't comment much on this), and a lovely soundtrack in general. Yeah I dunno what's the real connection between freedom and block puzzlers, but whatever.

Yooo, it's you, the Cakewalk bopper behind "Stratus" the other jam. Glad to see you again.

This time I felt like you interpreted the themes in an awesome way, I loved the time signature work (like in Stratus) and the vibes of the songs or whatnot. But at the same time i felt like some parts are a bit grating in both songs, and things can be hard to make out. Don't take that seriously please because it's way better than what I can do right now.

What i find engaging about this jam series is that you have people from all walks of life coming together to show off their skills and creativity. There have been a couple of people who've never done music before submitting here, and then we have professional entries like this, even with great visuals. Excellent work.

Against All Odds is insane with the progression of the song throughout almost 4 minutes and all the variety that I could never manage myself. New Adventure is nice too. Not a big fan of Onward (Start Chasing), it felt like a warmup track (I had one like that the last Crunchtime jam I took part in). Still, awesome stuff here.

Yeah, SOOTBONNIE is onto something because now I wanna play OneShot again. But it also reminds me of some music in Breath of Fire 2 on the SNES. Very nice overall.

Interesting, thank you, I can't say I've heard of that game or its composer. To be honest, the stuff about the melodic elements and my track structures is probably just caused by the way I approached leitmotifs, which is to say that I don't do leitmotifs often.

First one I'm rating and it's already an impressive combination of genres with high production quality. I especially liked the second track.

Thank you, I was a bit concerned about that kind of stuff indeed, and I guess for the next time I really should aim for more consistent mixing.

Thank you so much. Honestly it was more creative work in this case than technical (and it's more creative work at once than I'm used to, I will say that) but I should've managed my time better, though I was super stressed out, not having participated in jams in a while.

I like this entry, the surreal nature of the tracks reminds me of those weirdo RPG Maker games like Yume Nikki and OneShot.

If Mega Man X was a dragon, this would've been it. Absolutely masterful chiptune work, I only don't know where to learn from the pros like you, FM seems impossible.

Thank you. Looking back it's my favorite as well.

The presentation is excellent. The font would not be so bad if the game didn't require you to enter names with capital letters or names that are very specific (words that are out of the ordinary + stylized font doesn't seem like a good combo). Overall, very cool.
