Description
I started composing in Sibelius, but soon moved over to Waveform once I had a main melody fleshed out. As I continued, I realized I was making two different songs. One was an underwater symphony, and the other, more of eerie bubble dream. I severed the projects, which ended up making them both harder to complete. I already had a harsher deadline as I am going away for the last two days of the jam, but I pushed onward. I figured out an effect line that made the symphony sound under water (bit crusher->chorus-> LPF -> reverb), and filled it out to having 2 sections. I wrote some lyrics for the bubble dream, then ran them through an ai voice so it sounded female. I attempted to mash that with a vocal pad and bit crushed it to make it seem like it was coming in and out of focus. I wish I was more successful with this, but I wrapped up both songs quickly in effort to get them in on time.
I am pretty happy with what I turned out and am excited to continue working on the pieces.
Going forward, I think both need to be much longer. I would have loved to add bubble sounds into the symphony as well as more automation. I want to extend the dream as well, playing more with different bubble beats and doing more effects (bit crushing/ reverb/ automation) on the vocal lead. Thank y'all for listening, I hope you enjoyed a trip to underwater bubble land!

This was very pretty! I think you really achieved that underwater effect well with that reverb on the tracks, though i'm going to echo what other people have said and say it might be a little bit too much - it goes past the point of sounding distant and muted and instead makes the tail ends of all these notes blend together a bit, which makes it a bit harder to parse out what is going on. Overall this was nice though, keep it up! Ive never heard of waveform before this, and its always fun to see what people use.
Really enjoyed this one! The bubbly first track is completely appropriate to the theme and the second is such a nice, colourful orchestral ambient atmosphere. Awesome!
OH YES, IT'S TIME FOR A BEAUTIFUL ORCHESTRATION!
Thank you very much for an interesting journey into the underwater world of bubbles, heh)
P.S. I like your cover art, heh x2)
Thank you! My friend (@dat_art_do on instagram) did it for me! He's truly amazing

Taking the bubbles literally is a nice change in approach from many other subs I have heard. They fit your soundscape well, and I am also fond of the low brass that suggests the depths of the ocean in track number 2. The submission is quite short, but there is enough to go off of that I think more could be done with it. Well done.
Love the popping bubbles in the Dream track and how they go from random to providing a rhythm. Fish Symphony got a bit surreal and creepy, nicely done!
I agree with the others that the echoes made the sound very mushy at points, but the ideas here are very interesting, and I'd love to see them developed more!
I like the surreal dream-like feeling of Fish Symphony!
I appreciate the description of how you made the music!
At some points in the second song the echoes got really loud and drowned everything else out so lowering those I think would benefit the song.
Really cool writing, but the reverb is drowning the ideas and its hard to follow it.
I think just lowering a bit the reverb will benefit your tracks a lot :p
neat! love the dream-like feel of the entire project.
