Inside my world

How does it fit the theme?
In this game, the protagonist discovers his addiction to AI and embarks on a journey to "unplug." The music reflects his path to recovery, capturing the emotional and psychological evolution as he seeks to overcome his dependency.

Worm – In this dark and haunting opening track, the protagonist grapples with his addiction to AI, realizing he can no longer think independently.

Defrag – This energetic track captures the physical and emotional struggles of the early stages of recovery.

Kernel Panic – Menacing and eerie, this track portrays the protagonist's anxiety and panic attacks as he teeters on the brink during the initial phases of recovery.

Dæmons – With initial healing achieved, the real challenge begins. The ominous and chaotic melodies reflect the emotional turbulence the protagonist endures.

Time to Live – The protagonist, having come to terms with himself, experiences emotional growth. The heroic climax symbolizes the realization that recovery is a lifelong journey.

*Gordon Ramsay meme* "Finally, some good f*cking metal.*

As a lifelong metal fan, this stuff was absolutely badass. Really nice work! I made the stank face pretty much throughout the entirety of Defrag and when the groove kicked in on Time to Live.

Killer stuff!

Day 4 of Rating Submissions WIth Few Ratinsg to Hopefully get Some In Return

The concept is intriguing and unique. The cyberpunky. the Algorithm meets Johnny Mnemonic sound is also one I have not encountered much during this jam, so hats off to you for being unique. I like how a lot of the production obfuscates its origin just a smidge, how I cannot know if a guitar sound is actually a synth and vice verse. I also appreciate some of the jumbled melody lines, that highlight the protagonists inner turmoil.

Occasionally some of the higher frequencies can sound unfortunately piercing. Particularly a whistly synth sound in what I believe was the third song stood out in an uncomfortable way.

Love The Algorithm so thank you for the compliment 😀. Guitars are real 🎸🤘🏻. Appreciate the kind words and feedback.

I like the interpretation of the theme being more technological based as it involves AI and recovering from the addiction of it.

The first 3 tracks being named between computer based concepts like Worms as malware that corrupts the protagonist's mind with the addiction. the second song being called defrag as he tries to clear up his mind while he recovers similar to a computer trying to organize their files in the process of defragmentation, for example.

the emotional struggles of the protag being the rock parts of the songs and the electronic parts representing the addiction going less and less as he recovers is amazing in a thematic sense.

while this isn't my kind of music I can absolutely see that it is well made and high quality so great job!

I like the guitars in here. Great job with giving it a heavy and robotic atmosphere.

Worm - Feels like I am hacking in to the Matrix, pretty cool and big intro track

Defrag - Very intresting melody and nice transiton to the rock/metal section. Breakdown sounds really dope and going deeper in the track sounds like getting in another layer of the level really like the depth this goes.

Daemons - I assume this is a background dialogue track, at least the vibe I get from it and if so it has a pretty good distance to a in your face approach to it.

Time to Live - Very Epic sounding for a good roll credits

Amazing work!
