Description
This soundtrack blends orchestral instruments, synths and guitar for a sci-fi horror sound. The game is largely narrative, with each track representing one part of the story. Each stage includes short interactive section to advance the story.
01 - First Sunrise
The spaceship UNSS Wayfarer arrives at a new star system, the furthest from Earth any humans have been. It is a moment of wonder and triumph, and for now at least, peace.
02 - A Strange Signal
The crew discovers an impossible signal in orbit around a planet - its a human-made distress beacon.
03 - First Contact
The crew locates the beacon, and searches the wreck for any survivors. The search teams signals suddenly cut out, and an explosion rocks the Wayfarer - something has breached the hull and boarded the ship.
04 - Survival
The hostile alien has caused extensive damage to the ship. The captain orders the crew to abandon ship and flee in the escape pods. While the crew gets out safely, the captain sacrifices their own life to send a warning back to Earth.

This is truly a leviathan of a piece. From the very outset, no expense (or expanse) is spared in synthesizing a COSMIC ambience, and none of it is wasted on a single chords or run out of place. Listening to this Score, I hear an ornate metropolis of sounds erected upon an unimpeachable foundation of harmonies. Nothing is lost in the mix, and the core Form shines through all the layers. This is clearly a work that was masterminded from conception to completion. The only drawback is in some of the atonal guitar notes at the start of the last movement and the harsh piano velocities towards the end. That mix feels rushed, and I am not surprised, noting that you submitted within the last half hour. That alone dropped the Quality rating from 5 to 4. I gave this piece Five Stars in Impression, Composition, and Correlation.

Great work, really like the guitar in combination with the orchestra
Great work, I really like your tracks!
I love how emotional all of the tracks sounded, especially at the end of Survival I could feel the sense of sadness and loss. This would definitely sound great in a narrative game like the one you described!
Your harmony gave the music a huge edge; well outside of Pop progressions, including your use of dynamic contrast. Exactly the kind of composer a soundtrack needs.
This is one of my favorite entries that I have listened to so far. I'm a big fan. I think this is very fitting for a space action setting (think Star Trek) rather than a horror setting (like Aliens). Great work my dude.
I really like your use of guitars and dramatic orchestra! I love how I can tell you had fun with this
I liked the compositions! Especially the atonality in A Strange Signal. Everything felt coherent with the descriptions you provided. Good job!
YOU MADE A WHOLE PDF DOCUMENT ABOU THE LORE??? I love that!!
The tracks are very emotive and well-paced. I loved listening throughout every single one.
One of my favorite submissions so far!
That document almost made me late to submit xD Thank you!
I quite liked 'A Strange Signal'! And I could really feel the tension in 'First Contact'
This might be my favorite album cover in the jam
Sounds interesting but I'd like to make the guitar louder, it's too quiet for me
I like the fact you used a guitar! You made me realize I should use a vibrato fx more often, it's kinda 90s actually. Track #3 has a Final Fantasy vibe that I loved. The orchestal parts were great :)
Fantastic ambiance here, I especially like your use of the acoustic guitar in "First Sunrise". The cover art is also very cool
