This one really captures my imagination!  Really like the different combinations...feels like part Moba (destroy the totems) with neat elemental synergies.  Also any game that can be set up on a chess board.  Great entry!

Hi, I'm finding the rules quite unclear.

You don't say how totems are to be set up, but say that the deployment zone is on the back row around them.  So if I set up my totems on the next to back row do I have more space for deployment?

If I happen to roll the same elemental three times in a row while my opponent rolls three different ones, am I not at a huge opening disadvantage through no fault of my own?

Can elements move diagonally?

What happens when an element retaliates?  Can you retaliate against a retaliation?

I find the combination of elementals quite interesting.
The objective of the game seems a little bit difficult, I thought what usually happens is a snowball, with one player having an horde of elementals and the other one eventually is cornered, but now I see that there is no limit on the number of elementals you can summon (8x4= 24 elementals summoned per turn).
Doesn't it take very long for a game to end? I was having a similar problem with my own game
