Cool idea,  it's a little laggy and definitely need companions to work to fulfill higher taxes.

Nice idea! I wish I had some other people to play it with! Haha. Definitely looks like a fun game to play with a group. Maybe it would work well with a co-op/team V team element too.

it's already coop lol

team v team could be fun too, maybe dr mario style lol (resource stealing - land blocking with construction lol)

Edit: have u tried playing 2 guys with 2 hands? Pretty doable lol

Just to add to what have been mentioned by others; regardless of the tax amount, all resources of the type that have been "mined" gets collected (ex. tax is 10 logs and there are 20 logs lying around, all 20 gets collected when the timer runs out). If resources don't regenerate, it's easy to get a Game Over just by "pre-mining" resources.

I think it can be a really fun game if polished

Very fun concept, unfortunately, there were some bugs that made the game less enjoyable. NPCs would often get trapped inside the materials they just mined, requiring the player to rescue them. Also, after completing the first tax, I lost the ability to mine at all, making progression impossible.

If you squash these bugs, you have a very cool game.

Very cool concept, but it becomes veryyy laggy quickly

Yeah lol first time doing an isometric game. The lag was from the pathfinding.
Should've did the pathfinding in non-isometric perspective first and then translate to isometric later, but ran out of time lol.

Fun game, if it wasn't getting really laggy after 5 minutes, I probably would have played it for a lot longer.

The game becomes lagging when I tried for the second time. 
It would be nice if the building shadow can be hidden when we don't want to use it. 
The tutorial is easy to understand.

Yeah I thought abt hiding the building shadow too (like as 1 of the options when cycling with the "switch building" key). Thanks a lot!
