Fun story!  The presentation is a little rough around the edges, but I had a good time trying to figure out how to make the dragon god happy.  Good work!  :)

Developer

thank you for playing! yes the moving is a little rough, next time i make it smooth

Correct me if I'm wrong but you appear to be using graphics from one of the Harry Potter Gameboy games which you shouldnt do as you don't own the rights.

It's a nice concept, however, it wasn't very well executed. The way you chose to have the player walk, where she just jumps across the ground, could be a lot better done with an animation, and your selection of graphics wasn't very consistent. The main problem I had was that you couldn't close the game tab unless you restarted your computer. Keep trying however, with more practice I'm sure you can make a great game! :)

you can quit the game with the escape-button!

Ok, thanks. :)

The OpenGameArt.org Winter Game Jam 2022 requires submissions to use art from at least 6 different works on OpenGameArt.org.

Submissions are also required to give proper credit to the works used both via an in game credits screen and on the itch.io page for the game.   See the Jam rules for details and an example of how to give appropriate credit.

Does Forgotten Sanctuary use at least 6 different art assets from OpenGameArt.org?   If so, can you add credits for the work used to the game's itch.io page?

Developer

I use more than 6 assets from opengameart. I have the credits in the title-screen!! I have added the credits in the itch.io-page

Host

I see you've added something to the game page but it's not quite enough.

Credits should include:

  • The Author's name or OpenGameArt.org handle
  • The name of the work as given on OpenGameArt.org
  • A URL pointing to the asset on OpenGameArt.org
  • The license for the work

You should also indicate if you have made modifications to the work.

Here's an example:

The following work was used in the creation of this game.  Modifications were made.

Title:    Seasonal Platformer Tiles

Author:     GrafxKid

URL:     https://opengameart.org/content/seasonal-platformer-tiles

License(s):     * CC0 ( http://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/legalcode )

Can you add this info to the credits on the itch.io page for this game?

Developer

thats very annoying!!!! why are you so broing!! The opengameart-jam before six months was not so!! Why it is not enough when I write down the credits?!?! There were some assets, I dont remember the URL. The most assets are from opengameart.org. I have worked 3 weeks every day on the game. I dont find now the urls

Developer

i have added in my description three urls I know.

Host

thanks, you are half way there!

Can you post images of the art you can't find the urls for over on the OpenGameArt forums or the the OpenGameArt discord channel for this jam?

People there (myself included) should be able to help you find the URLs for them.

Sorry to be boring but it's important to give proper credit to people's works.  :)

Developer

sorry, that I was so unfriendly. I make it tomorrow.

Host

It's ok, I know how stressful getting something done for a jam can be!   I do appreciate you taking the time to get this stuff right.

Developer(+1)

I have done it! Six assets from opengameart-infos on my game-site

thank you!
