- Very relaxing game! Thank you!
- This game does violate the no holding mechanics rule, and while stepping away would not cause a loss, it would take away being able to see the progression mechanics as the villagers. I liked the art style and the ambient effects with fog and star movement, and the sound was very immersive. It was enticing to see what the next upgrade would be as I crossed the wood and fish thresholds. Some bugs I saw were that animations carry over from one state to the next so sometimes you see a villager in a boat cutting down trees, and also when I got 50 wood and 30 fish at the same time, the game entered a state of permanent fast forwarding and I saw a tiny villager permanently over by the trees not participating in anything.
- Lovely idea, but a bug seems to break it. This happens for me after a log-cabin appears, when the first clouds roll in. I found it locked into fast-forwarding, with no more control available. It seems to be an experiential life simulator, with the ability to skip any of the four divisions of the day. Some experimenting shows how it's quickest to develop the world. In fast forward, the fish and log counters don't go up, which is a bit confusing, illogical, but actually does make this into more of a game as you discover what works. I really like the relaxed experiential nature of it. The animation, artwork, and ambient sounds are truly excellent. Having to hold the switch to fast-forward, does go against the competition rules. A toggle effect would have been better. Press then release = speed time up.... Press then release = normal time. Would love to see this fixed, and polished a little more (e.g. better transitions between the four sections of the day). Maybe a full-screen (black background) option would be nice too. Very likeable as is though.
- I like the cost to skipping time. Also the resource limits. Very clever and relaxing.
