- Charming, gentle game. I really like the switch cycles the weather/time-of-day. In fact I like all of it. Lovely. Perfect game for 2020. Bravo!
- This adhered to the one button rule other than an optional right-click in the beginning, so that's good. However, stepping away from the game can cause detrimental outcomes because the game is always progressing and thus either the wrong power or the ladybug will cause progress to be reset, especially since it can take you back to previous levels. Also, the gameplay is relying somewhat on reaction rates when actively playing to switch powers or blow away the ladybug in time to not lose progress. It was a bit more frantic that I would have expected from a farming type of game. The graphics were nice, and the music was peaceful. You should think of releasing the songs on a soundtrack because the "Little Seed Grow" song was cute. :)
- The tutorial is a little confusing with the indicator for both the right and left mouse buttons. It's good to see that you have made a lot of improvements due to feedback. The basic menu mechanic is nice. The ladybug starts eating before it gets to the plant. Overall a nice little game with room for further improvement and refinement. I suggest finding friends to play it and watching them play to see if you can learn anything about how you could improve the experience.

Very interesting game and I like the concept. Little hard but not to difficult. The tutorials help but you can kind of learn it on your own. Overall good job.
vid review
Big improvements. Well done. Very pleasant game, and very relaxing.
Some more thoughts.
1. PLANT SELECTION problem. To start the game you have to hold LEFT-CLICK for a long-time. This goes against the competition rules. Two ways to overcome this. Click to cycle through the three plants. After the first click... when you stop clicking a timer ticks-down (maybe just use the progress bar in reverse), and when it reaches zero that option is chosen.
Or, press once (and release) to start the plant options cycling automatically. When you press again (and release), that selects and starts the game.
2. HARD TO READ FONT. A lot of the text is hard to read, depending on the weather/time-of-day, and where the text is. If you can, a white outline would really help.
3. Small grammatical mistake, I believe with "Your plant grew to bore the fruit of.....". Should be "Your plant grew to bear the fruit of...."
I have updated the game accordingly to the suggestions given.
Thank you so much for the suggestions and compliments for the past few days. I am truly grateful for the wonderful judge's for creating this game jam and the cause behind this event. Have a great day and more power!
Good improvement, but asking the user to press ENTER stops it being a one-button game.
Ideally, allow the game to be played using the SPACE BAR and/or LEFT-CLICK alone. No need to press anything else. No need to move a mouse pointer. No need for keys.
It might be nice to allow the user to skip the intro too, as once you've seen it once, you might want to get straight into the game.
On the full-screen option, bear in mind that the most able switch users may be using a mouse emulator. It would be good to offer a clickable way to go back to windowed mode.
Thank you for the feedback, I will roll out the updates as fast as possible, thank you!
Once again thank you for the suggestions that you have commented. I have programmed the game to let the player long press the "Left-Mouse Button" whenever the player wants to choose a plant, instead of pressing "Enter."
I have also implemented your idea to skip the intro.
Pertaining to the Full-Screen button that you have suggested, Sadly I cannot implement it, since it is one of the limitation of the game engine that I am using.
Very nice, but this is not a one-button game, as you have to move a pointer about. The game should be possible to start, play, and restart using a single button (e.g. SPACE BAR, or the left-click with no need to move the pointer).
Thank you so much for your suggestion. And from that, I have updated the game to only be controlled by one button that is the "Left-Mouse Button" and completely removed any pointer movement.
Liked the game, nice message, good music. I am not sure if needing to move the mouse to access options and such is against any rule. I would like to have other judge's thoughts on this.
I have already laid out a new way to access the menu's and options and ready to be programmed. Thank you for your comment.
