Great job submitting a game! This is probably one of the cleanest "bullet hell" type games I've seen for Nokia Jam. It plays really nicely and you implemented the upgrades well, they have a significant impact on how the gameplay feels. I want to be able to see the player character before the level starts and I noticed in some of the later levels I couldn't see the vertical axis lasers before it started. It would be nice to see everything that will be in the level and where I am starting, even if it is in the center every time, so I can prepare my best plan of attack.

I found the second level to be the hardest. Once I got a few upgrades under my belt it felt like I had a lot of room for error and I could easily afford a full health heal between every level. It depends on how you want the game to play but I just thought I would share my experience. I like your use of sound to make the game feel frantic. Its satisfying to beat a level just to be free from the constant tick of sound haha. Thanks for participating!

Really challenging game! I included it in my Nokia 3310 Jam 4 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

So strange seeing something I've made in a YouTube video... Thanks for playing and for your kind comments :)

Really smooth and satisfying gameplay. I like the enemies’ visual design.

I feel like some dots coming off of enemies when they got hit would help with this game. It's really hard to tell the shots are actually landing.

Yeah, I did try that out early on but found that was making the screen too busy in the later stages so I went with changing the enemy sprites to show damage instead. With a bit more screen space some sort of particle effect would be a better solution though, I agree. Or maybe just better art direction, but I'm not much of a visual artist. Thanks for playing and for the feedback.

Great entry! So well balanced and polished, especially "upgrade" theme implementation. I've managed to pass the last level, though it was tough!  Good job, must be in top 3 for sure :D

Thanks :) You're too kind, I don't expect it'll do that well but I'm happy with how it turned out.
