We are most proud of the music and art. We aren't native speakers, we are from Hungary. This is our first game. The game was made by a team of two, Roland and Rebeka. Time management is not our thing.

The concept is really interesting ! But it doesn't seem my choices have an impact.

The music is really cool ! Great work !

This was really interesting and I think it fits the theme wonderfully. It didn't seem like my choices affected the responses much, or maybe there was a bug? The stranger asked what was that thing I didn't do even though I hadn't picked it. Or maybe that was by design, and it's even more meta that it seems!! XD

Anyway, great work and congratulations on your first game!

Pros

  • Very, very good writting skills. The plot was simple but there was something about it, I really liked it and left me wanting to know more about these characters.
  • Beautiful music, very fitting.
  • The visuals are minimalistic but they work perfectly.
  • The magical realism theme was implemented really well!

Cons

  • Some resolution problems so I missed some parts of the letters. it would be amazing if you could fix the resolution issue and upload the game again after the jam ends to fully enjoy the plot!

Overall: very short but really nice game, a really interesting experience and a very interesting concept. Great work!

The writing is really really good, I enjoyed the letters from the stranger a lot. Even if you aren't native speakers, you did a great job, your English is great :) it'd be amazing to see more this game expanded, maybe making the writing letters the main mechanic, but having the character be at home and interact with stuff? Just throwing ideas haha congratulations on making your first game, hoping there's more to come :D

Somehow, the game is bigger than my screen, and I can't read the buttons. A shame, because this game looks really cool, and I'd love to actually play it!

We worked on it, now is good but i can't upload the patch :(( sorry

I loved the style of the game! I was simple but nice at the same time. I think letting the player directly interact with the story was a great decision. Good work!

Thank you :D

The writing style of this game has great voice and really helps you engage with Kazan. I love the main mechanic of composing your own letter, I thought it was pretty fun. Are there multiple endings based on what you pick? I also like the mystery of not knowing where these letters come from or why. The music is lovely.

There was an issue with the screen size, though. The game's display was too big for my laptop screen so text was cut off at the edges, making it harder to read everything. The issue actually seemed to get worse as I got further into the game. It's a shame I wasn't able to read everything properly, as once again I do like the writing style and was curious to learn more about Kazan. There's also a bug where if you go back to the main menu after completing the main game a second playback of the song starts up but the first one keeps going, so the song is playing twice at the same time, if that makes sense.

Still, this is nice work!

Thanks! :D We want to work on it further!
