Very on-point with the theme and the art style is very cute, love the character's expressions! Some background noise or sound effects might add some atmosphere but as it is I liked it. Ended up getting the good ending twice because I didn't want to disappoint Barry.

Truly narrative driven design. I liked the story and graphics. Perhaps you can add a bit more sound to the game like background music. I think, it would enhance player experience quite a lot

Really like the take on a concept that hits home for a lot of people! Loved the artstyle, text and the endings as well

What a great take on a very... modern subject.

You turned the everyday contaiment into an adventure game, and I like that.

The pictures are simple and cartoony, giving the game a much more light-hearted mood, which helps when dealing with a bit of an heavy dilemma.

I also like that it doesn't spoil itself too quickly - there are hints here and there, but the start sounds a lot more threatening and it kept it intriguing.

Plus, there's something almost funny in subverting the Adventure Game norm like this. Succesfully escaping the place you are trapped in is actually the bad ending in this case!

A good game that displays the message we all have to repeat sometimes - it's not just us, it's everyone else we have to worry about too.

Great entry!

Thank you for the detailed comments, happy that the message gave some thought without being preachy. We struggled with the narrative a bit but happy that the intrigue came through. The contrast between the cartoony art style and the heavier dilemma/plot was actually unintentional :P but now that you mention it, it does add to it and it's nice that it turned out that way. Glad you enjoyed it!

Phenomenal art and writing! Gives me retro adventure vibes. A bit unsure why the antagonists are so secretive, though. Keep up the good work.

Developer

Totally unintended for them to be so secretive other than... we didn't want to reveal the plot right away but it was hard to have them say anything without revealing the key plot point. So the writer couldn't figure out what to make them say... LOL

Thanks for playing!
