I love this concept! I was really struck by the simple rain sound. It delivers so much atmosphere in just one little piece of audio. The story as you've laid it on in your design document sounds really intriguing. Can't wait to see where you take this next.

Nice details in item descriptions. It really helped build the world and view the character's thoughts.
We liked the world flooded by the rain. From just playing the game we couldn't whether the protag was living in an actual yellow sub or an apartment. Perhaps that was intentional :)

I liked the little smoke animation on the birthday cake! Kinda thought it was a steam boat at first haha.

Great idea. Read the slides you had on what the full game might look like when it's finished. Really original idea. Good luck on bringing it to life :) What you had here already is a good foundation. Liked the rain sounds setting the atmosphere. Would be nice to add some sound effects when interacting with other objects later. I also liked the little bits of information we could learn by picking up objects.

It sounds like a nice little concept - I like the colors and the soothing rain effect.

The few bits of dialogue and characterization present here sound very... how do you say it? Inspiring? They give a nice idea in few words of who this character is, and that is great for a narrative game.

Continuing in this style is definitely encouraged! Good entry overall.
