i really like the idea of this game! nice art style!
Nice idea, I liked it! It did seem I walked straight into beam as I moved up a screen a couple of times but that could be changed easily. Would be interesting to see the enemies move about a bit and maybe some kind of "View Cone" based on light something light this: https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/tools/particles-effects/2ddl-pro-2d-dynami... that could really ramp up the stealth element!
Thanks for doing a HTML version so I could play!
I actually already had Unity's 2D lighting (it only exists in Universal Render Pipeline) in the scene, but I wanted to keep the colour palette restricted (the light would sort of have ruined the effect). As for the straight line of sight, it was the easiest line of sight to make (although I spent most of my time programming the orange sprite it to be the right size), and I plan to make different ones in the future. The cone is a good idea!
Couldn't figure how to win this, but this is a really good concept and a really neat game ! Nice pixel art !
You sort of can't win it. You just go to the topmost room and see "Thanks for playing!" text. Don't blame me, my brother did the level design ;-)
Omg, I had so fun playing, i love how simple this game is, nice work.
Very nice! ^^
So simple and so fun!
Played it a lot and was very enjoyable!

Wow dude the art is gorgeous! I don't know why but i really like it!
Thanks! I guess the limited colour scheme worked then!
Also, I want to play your game but I haven't got the chance yet...
...might do it now, actually.
I like the art :)
Thanks! I tried going with a restricted colour palette, as shown in this video:
