I really liked the chill atmosphere of this game. I think with some more time this could be really cool, I like exploring the planets etc (I think there needed to be some kind of alien enemies or something to do maybe, even a countdown, not sure) and the vibe was really nice. Great music and art, congrats!!

I agree with railkill the pacing is very slow, especially on the first few levels. I think the durations are a bit long before you progress, there is too much repeated content and there need to be more indications of the story early on. Also, the landing areas could be smaller for my taste, the story unfolds on the last planet but that's too late, I became bored just waiting for the next planet to appear and collecting stuff AGAIN on the surface. The Artstyle kept me going... I was curious how it ends.

Spicing up yes, but I don't think weapons suit this game. Maybe something like homing mines that detonate in a radius, fog clouds blocking the view, or Asteroids that bounce off each other to mix things up a bit. Aesthetics are there, gameplay not yet.

I like your ideas! We’ll definitely be adding more to spice up the both the flights and the moon exploration sequences. I think you’re right that the first few levels are too easy, Meta actually told me to make them more difficult but I ignored them lol. Designer hubris I guess. I’m glad you liked the artstyle! This is my first project with multiple artists and I’m so glad it didn’t end up discordant.

The cover art caught my eye and I decided to give it a try. It’s pretty chill with a calm style and music and I like the aesthetic of the game. I find the ship landing with particles pretty awesome. Gameplay-wise, it needs more spicing up. Perhaps some ship weapons, upgrades, or cool dodging maneuvers. I stopped playing after 3 planets because there didn’t seem to be any variety, and there was no exposition on why I’m visiting all these planets in the first place. Also, there needs to be an indication of how long before I reach the next planet; I know that the planet actually appears on screen, but that is not enough of an indication - perhaps you should also add a bar at the top showing how much progress is made. Overall, I do think this is a pretty cool game. Keep it up!

Thanks for the feedback! I agree, it is pretty boring after the first few moons. This was way too ambitious for a jam game, we would have loved to add all the things you mentioned but unfortunately we did not have nearly enough time. The lack of any weapons was a deliberate choice though, I wanted chill pacifist vibes. Adding a progress bar is easy, I’ll throw that in the post-jam patch. I’m glad you liked it, expect more from us in the future!
