very cute little minigame, I would have loved to see a little more like maybe adding more time when you found some gold, otherwise the music and animations were great!
Cute game with adorable animations, clicking to move to the location to perform an action was very chill and easy to play.
It did lack some challenge for me is all I can comment on since I wasn't sure what else to do with the gold I was mining. maybe upgrades or a bomb to set off (like Bomberman) to blow a small region up would be kinda cool!
Musically it was very upbeat and fit the pacing of the game, I think I would have liked more sound effects for hitting the rocks.
Sadly the game does work very well full screen as the UI elements do not scale correctly, this of course was not a deal-breaker but might be something you want to look at in the future :)

Great visuals and music, feels pretty cozy. I kind of wish it wasn't so luck dependant but maybe it's just that that aspect wasn't really for me. Either way I think it's a good game, good job!
Thank you so much! Well, the Gold can spawn in patterns of up to 4 connected pieces, the shapes are a bit like Tetris stones. You can guess from the shapes of the stones, crossways have a higher likelihood of having gold. So there is a little bit of system behind the level generation that one can adapt to, but in the end, luck is a big factor.

That's odd, can you tell me which browser you were using? Maybe switch to another one and see if it does still not work... Could you make a screenshot of the error message you received?

This game looks really nice and felt pretty good to play. I personally think a quick sound effect to breaking the rocks would add a lot of oomph to the game.
Absolutely right, you know I added the gold sound effect 8 minutes before the deadline and had to build and submit it. The rock break would have been next on my list but I ran out of time ;)
It felt very cosy to play, loved the music you used for it and the art is really good. I didn't manage to get anywhere near the 9 pieces of gold so i think a longer timer or even for every piece the timer is extended/paused but that could just be me being slow.
Yeah, you have to be fast and need some luck to make the cat happy.
