Good game i liked using various shops a lot, just wish you needed more time to complete the levels, most of them i completed on the second ship.

Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah making the characters only unlockable later into the level ended up being a big balancing headache,  in foresight I probably should have made levels starting with different characters

Had a good time with it. Simple presentation. I really enjoyed getting the enemy abilities. I found it a bit confusing though. I'm not really sure how the gold system works.

Glad you enjoyed it, yh i didn't explain the gold system well enough in the tutorial (fyi you gain gold for killing enemies and lose it if you take damage, which isnt shown well). Luckily, with it being a topdown shooter everyone just knows to shoot at things so hopefully didn't impact most peoples enjoyment.

FYI, just to let you know once the final level is completed the game has an error and crashes, luckily all that you'll miss is the win screen

The game is quite fun. The mechanic of the game is simple but with the use of using enemy ability that help spice thing up a lot when playing for many levels. The art style really suit the game but after playing for a while I got this error pop up and the game freeze.

Thanks for letting me know, I have a feeling that might be similar to something I encountered this morning,  it probably happens at the very end of the game so you shouldn't have missed much,  just a win screen.

EDIT: yes, just tested and it crashes before win screen

Nice little game. I like the arcade style. The minimalist aesthetics works well. The concept is promising but I think it could be improved to feel it more.
