Use of the limitation
The primary thing is that the dice is used as the level layout, it was the best thing I could think of and I didn't want to abandon any idea...

How was your experience with Mini Jam?
Limitation was hard, this was the only technical way I could incorporate it without having to use physics or drawing too much for rotating in 2D...

I loved it! Rolled a 19, 19, 1 (on the third roll -_- ). Song was a bit repetitive, but given the limitations perfectly understandable. Had fun, great work!

Best game I played in jam so far. Fun and just enough hard. Liked it a lot!

Great overall package I wasn't sure what to expect from the icon. I loved the RPG throwback and the look. It was a bit tricky but all in all enjoyable :)

As the description on the game acknowledges, it's a bit all over the place in terms of difficulty, though mostly on the harder side in my few attempts at playing it. Perhaps a bit less randomization would be help. It is an interesting use of the mechanic, though. Music loop is a bit too short, but the graphics are really nice.

Yeah, I have very little experience in balancing stuff so I kind of just left it to whatever luck is provided (I do weigh the randomizations to intentionally favor difficulty however, as if you get fortunate rolls it became extremely easy for me to beat the game at least.)
