This is a fun concept, and the presentation is really good. The idea of drawing symbols to cast spells is cool.

I think you should have given the ghosts a bit of a health indicator, and maybe started spawning them a bit slower and then ramp up later. The game doesn't feel like it gives the player a fair chance to ramp up before going all out on them, so that makes it quite frustrating.

Nice work on your first jam game!

I really liked the concept and presentation of the game. The idea of having to draw these spells to do stuff was nice, but also a hard at first. I am also kinda lost what the actual goal of the game is.
I managed to use the drawing spells to push the appearing ghosts/enemies away but never managed to kill them. Eventually I would always die, because they kept coming.

I think pausing the game completely while drawing could have made it easier. Together with adding a healthbar and instructions how to beat the game could make it a great/better game!

Well, the point was to make the progression not as the gameplay part, but as the player's studying on how to act to win, and as soon as you understand how to draw marks quicker it's almoste a piece of cake. To be honest I even thought it's way too easy  with the slow motion XD

P.s. the gameplay goal is to kill 50 ghosts, It's in the rules

Thank you for playing!

Ah I see. Thanks! I managed to kill some enemies but I think I need more practice drawing the arrow thing to kill 50 of these(I couldn't find the exact number though in the rules or itch.io page). I kinda suck at drawing these and you are under pressure when the ghots are coming close xD
Balancing games is really hard though, since youself as a developer know the game best and probably know all the tricks and have all the practice.

Ok, I guess I shoud use the word "Ghosts" instead of "Wrasits", becouse it's right in the first line of the rules

Love the art and music! The concept is pretty good, although I think the ghosts have a bit too much health. The environnement looks really cool too, so good job on following the limitation!

The ghosts had to have a lot of health to encourage player to use the marks, becouse you cant just just kill them with the regular projectiles. Players can use the green mark to combo the enemies and kill them with one mark cast. But the thing is, player has to constantly feel they are in danger, so instead of facing the wraith they better escape and regroup, that's why you are faster.

Yeah, I should probably add a some kind of a tip...
