Is there some reason this jam isn't showing up on itch's calendar thing?  It's also not in the "starting soon" view -- maybe there's some public switch that needs to be flipped?

We believe this is something on Itch’s end. All of our settings are set accordingly, so we’re really not sure what the problem could be.

I was wondering the same thing, it doesn't show in the upcoming jams either, I'm seeing this with a few recurring jams ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I found this jam while I was looking for discord servers of game jams that I could spend time in before Ludum Dare 47 starts in October. I joined the Ludum Dare discord and noticed that Mini Jam partnered up with Ludum Dare as their jams are more frequent than Ludum Dare. 26 jams (excluding major jams) a year while Ludum Dare has 2 a year. One in April and one in October. So I'm participating in Mini Jam 5 times until Ludum Dare starts and obviously I want to continue with Mini Jam until the next Ludum Dare starts (April 2021) and repeat.
