Interesting game idea and nice use of the limitation. Took me a while to figure out the hypercharge mechanic but once I did the gameplay got really exciting. Great job.

Just a few suggestions, maybe the tutorials can be shorter. Player has to complete the entire tutorial level even after understanding the mechanic (if there was a way to quit it, I couldn't figure it out).
Also, the robots that are in enemy mode can have a different color (like red), and once they are taken over the color can change to the player character robot. This way you can add more different variations of enemy robots and allow the player to take over them to increase engagement.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, there is no mechanic to quit since I forgot to implement that. Should most definitely be something I always implement for my next game jam. The robots changing color is an interesting idea and would have made the game probably look less dull.

Felt like a fresh take on classic top-down bullet hells! None of the robots you take over last forever (great use of limitation) and it's not too easy or too challenging, great job!

Thanks. Good to hear that the balancing seems alright, since that's usually one of the hardest things to get right.

Really?! That's weird... because that doesn't happen on any of my devices. Thanks for informing me. I'm not sure what to do about that right now tho...
