Use of the limitation
Each time the player dies, a new generation begins — carrying forward inherited parts and unlocking mutations. Death isn’t the end; it’s how you evolve. The more you fail, the stronger your next run becomes through permanent mutations and strategic part inheritance. Progress is literally built on failure.
Cookies eaten
I went through 5 (or more) packs of snacks — I honestly lost count. I still have 5 empty snack wrappers and 2 used coffee cups in my room as proof. I also cooked a few instant noodles, drank 1 liter of Fanta, half a liter of Sprite, lots of water, ate 5 pieces of cake, and 2 slices of brownies (even though I'm not really into sweet stuff). This game was clearly powered by caffeine, sodium, sugar, and questionable life choices (This is just my personal count, Dhyox, I have no idea what the rest of the team consumed!)

Let's get some minor annoyances out of the way, first of all the rat footsteps were a bit monotonous and annoying after a while (thankfully theres a sound slider) and the levels could have shorter timers because most of the time was just standing around waiting for the timer to end and this made the game slower paced as a whole. Other than that, love the art, it just looks so polished for a 3 day jam. All the menus and UI were great too and the music was pretty nice and fit the vibe. Also although that isn't part of the game, but love how professional the itch page looks. Well done!
Absolutely awesome artwork! The designs are absolutely wonderful, setting a gold standard for Game Jams. I would love the option to turn the footsteps off, as it was quite grating after a while.
The synergy system and visual upgrades are great and are honestly a point of inspiration for me! As for criticism I do think the game is a bit slow paced, I found I had killed all the enemies on my floor and couldn't progress without the timer. Also I also appreciate that layered music, very cool!
Hey! This game is really good! The art looks like it could be from a fully released game! I loved both the art and the concept. The rat's footsteps got a bit annoying after a while, and I found a few bugs. Maybe consider putting it on WebGL so more people can play it. Great work!
I absolutely love the art! The concept works well and fits the theme and limitation. Great work!
