The typing mechanic is fun, but I found that after 2 entries it stopped for accepting input for me, it could be my laptop or because I used the online version, not sure.  But the mechanic definitely works.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm trying to figure out why so many people are having trouble after a couple of rounds, I cannot recreate this issue... I wonder if it's not clear enough that you can only give commands to cats! In round 2, the player must command a cat to get milk from a cow, then give the milk to a snowman, then they must use a cat again to take the ice cream from that snowman and give it to a frog. No going directly from cow to snowman or snowman to frog. That's my best guess as to what is going wrong, someone let me know otherwise please! And thanks again!

After realising that on first play where it got stuck I reloaded to try again and it still got stuck after 2 entries.

I actually really enjoyed the typing mechanic with this game, but it did have some drawbacks. Sometimes i'd type to share something, make a small typing error, and then spend a few seconds trying to figure out why it wasn't working/retyping the whole thing. Some form of auto complete/command suggestion/buttons to do commands would definitely help this game shine even more than it already does. I think this was a really interesting take on the limitation, awesome job!

Thanks for your feedback! I agree, making typing errors is still pretty frustrating, even as I playtest. I added a quick reference and made some other post jam balance changes now but I would have liked to add auto complete if I had time. Glad you enjoyed!

This is very cute, I am always a sucker for a black cat character! This was a very good take on the theme, but I think the typing held this game back a bit. It either needed some text in the corner with all the options you can type, or interactions should've just been with buttons. But overall very cute, I love the art style and theme use!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I would definitely have liked to have all the options pop up like autocomplete but couldn't get to it in time. The command options are listed in the description in case that helps! Thank you!

I absolutely love the gameplay concept of this game, it's very creative and fits so well with the limitation. With that said, I had a lot of issues playing the game, the game screen was too large and the text box wouldn't work a lot of times. Maybe think about adding an UI, like a box, so that it's easier to interact with. Overall, nice game!!

Thanks for the feedback! I made some updates based on your comment and other folk's comments. The screen resolution is now lower, some commands are on screen for quick reference, and some general difficulty balance too!

if you don't mind, you can also try my game, feel free to comment rate it

I like the game idea but the typing commands sadly didn't work for me. Would love to play again in the future!

Developer

Thanks for giving it a shot! I've added some quality of life changes post jam that hopefully make things a little more playable.
