Team members
I was the only one who worked on the game, but I used a number of premade assets from people. Natsumi Sprite and CG: Noraneko Games (https://noranekogames.itch.io/) Beach Background: ashnin10 (me!) (https://ashnin10.itch.io/) BGM: "flowers pouring down" by shimtome (https://dova-s.jp/EN/_contents/author/profile295.html) Fonts: Urang Kaya (https://www.dafont.com/urang-kaya.font) and Vividly (https://www.dafont.com/vividly.font)

Software used
Ren'Py for the code and Clip Studio Paint for the art and images

Use of the limitation
I interpreted the limitation to be small in scope. So I made a very short game with one character.

Cookies eaten
I don't think I had cookies in particular, but I had a number of chocolate-covered dried strawberries.

That was surprisingly wholesome, I kinda want to hear more about Natsumi… but gotta keep with the jam’s constraints.

Thank you, I'm really glad you liked it! Yeah, this had to be a shorter game to fit the jam, but I'm glad you liked the story!

Holy crap this game has so much quality of life features, saves, options and more! Music was cozy and the presentation was consistent.

I would love if there was some kind of branching path as the game comes to a close. Overall great job!

Thank you! I'm glad you liked the game! You have Ren'py to thank for most of the quality of life features :)

I wanted to keep things simple for this game, but I do plan to have branching stories in future games I make!

My favorite game so far! Nice vibes, cool art, banger music. Only thing is I wish there was at least some option for me to choose dialogue, then it would feel like a true visual novel!

Developer

Thank you! I'm really glad you liked it! This game is a kinetic visual novel which is why there aren't any options, but I do plan to have proper visual novels with choices in the future! I just wanted to keep things simple for this jam. :)

I really liked the setting and color choices. Really felt like a relaxing and genuine conversation!

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed!

I love seeing more renpy games here!

The art was cute, and ai enjoyed the music.

The conversation topic is a bit of an abrupt, but sometimes that's how conversations go. It's nice while the player may not know a lot about Natsumi they are still able to support her in her troubles.

Very sweet
