Really nice game, I love the art style, its so unique! I'm not sure if this was part of the game on purpose, but whenever I got a new high score it was always 1 less than the score I actually got in game. Regardless really nice job!

To answer your question, it's on purpose because at the end the game count the number of stable fish (minus the fallen one).
It's the second time someone tell me about this and as a player I understand it can be frustrating, maybe I should make the minus 1 a little before the game ends.

I got a best of 21 fishes in the bucket. Like the use of the limitation. The art style was unique. Overall a more than good submission in this jam

Nice game! Fun to play. Got at most 17 fishes but it said my high score is 16. (but I know better lol). Kinda short too. I also didn’t notice any music/sound. GG!

I made it to 20 but the high score said 19 :O. It was fun though, I played for a few rounds. I really liked the hand drawn art good job!
Yeah, I realized it can be a bit frustrating but the bucket score count the number of catched fish and the final score count the number of fish in the bucket (minus the fallen fish).

Very clever use of the limitation added some strategy and also risk whenever I wanted to pick smaller fish that were right next to bigger fish. Like the graphics as well although some sound design obviously would have been nice.
Highest score I got was 40 btw

Cute art and concept! I really enjoyed the bucket prefering smaller fish since it had a limit to what it could hold. Also I know it wasn't the point of the game, but I had fun filling the bucket with big fiosh and watching all other ones fall out lol.
