This is a dope concept for a game. I'm sure with a little bit more time to workshop it and make the mechanics more clear it will be a blast. I enjoyed it! but SOOO MANY CALTROPS. Even still, I was able to win twice, dodging the spiders.

i won!

i understand that the green is poison that ticks each turn, the spider moves (i didn't fully understand how), spikes occupy free spaces, and the angry dude gets mad without moving and he's chunky.

a bit of description on the cards about what they do would help to plan actions better.

anyway, very good game!

Nice idea, making the instructions clearer and adding visual and sound effects can become a nice game.

It's really fun and it looks really good, did you do it yourself? :)
Developer

Thanks! Yes, everything was done during the jam!

I barely made it haha (I can't post a screenshot but I win with 2 HP and 3 Spiders surrounding me)

The game is very interesting, the instructions are unclear and having so much text is worst. I think the best way to do it is visually, and playing, starting with smaller boards, fewer enemies and increasing the difficulty gradually

Still, the game have a lot of potential! Keep it up ♥

Good game, and interesting concept. It was a little unclear on how it worked, even with the instructions. And audio is missing :/

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, audio got sacrificed, it makes me sad too..
I agree the lack of strong feedbacks (and audio :s) does not help to understand the game.
What would you add to the instructions to make it clearer?
