this is the game i have enjoyed the most. the limitation is well presented and i found no issues with the game. it was nicely polished and has smooth game play. i wanted to keep on playing it but unfortunately it had to end. thank you for making this game definitely it has inspired me with its game mechanic. good job.

Really great idea with a polished execution! The use of the limitation on the second floor of the tower is SOOO cool, loved it! Also the art style and music integrate perfectly with the game, one of the best of this jam imho!

A fun take on the bullet heaven / twocolour genres! I feel like the larger (reflectable) projectiles could have done with explaining and maybe some nice juicy particles when I hit them

The introduction "attack" to explain the mechanic worked really well, the attacks are telegraphed in a satisfying manner, fun entry!

Great job on the variety of attacks. Kept the game feeling fresh and engaging. Probably my favorite use of the limitation I've seen so far since it really does feel like a limitation - if only I had all three swords then the wizard wouldn't be as scary. Could see myself playing more of this is there were additional enemies and room layouts in the future!

The targeting mechanic confused me a lot at first since the cursor was hard for me to see. It took me until halfway through the first phase to realize that whatever sword I use shows up at the cursor location instead of just swinging on that side of my character. The attack variation forces me to move every once in a while which is nice, but I'd be curious as to how leaving the attacks on the sides of the character would feel since they'd have to move into position depending on what side of their character those color bullets are.

Only other thing is that I kept accidentally swapping swords at the end when trying to attack. Probably could've just walked away from the third sword but I didn't know what was happening for a couple swaps and I didn't want to go too far away since it'd be hard to swap in time if the colors changed.

This is a fantastic entry. The core concept is really cool, the style is charming, and it's really fun to play. Something that really impressed me was the natural way the mechanics are introduced. Having the first phase setup the way it is allows the player to practice and get comfortable before moving onto the more challenging game play. Adding green orbs on the third wave was also perfectly time and adds more complexity to the gameplay loop in a very satisfying way. I like that the game provides options, you can slash the small orbs or simply dodge them, which I chose to do more often than not as trying to break them often led to me getting hit. I think the hit boxes are a little off in some areas, I miss some orbs I think I should hit, and get hit by things that I think should miss, but it's only by a minor degree. With a little tweaking the whole thing would feel incredibly smooth. The theme and limitation are wrapped into it all very well, and I think you could do a lot with this!

Was a bit hard, but I managed to push thru.

The game is fun, the enemy patterns are interesting and different enough that you need to actually think.

The controls (especially the aiming) are a bit unreliable though. I also think it would be better if the third color sword was more integral to the gameplay, but that might be just due to the shortness of the game.

Either way, good job!

Great game, in all aspects, my only issue is with aiming. I found myself clicking outside the window or struggling to aim precisely. I think the controls would be better with a gamepad.

This game was really fun! I thought the use of the limitation worked well. Using the correct the sword to hit the correct projectile was fun, and the added green sword was a nice challenge. My only complaint would be the game doesn't really require you to use anything but the red sword. You can just keep using it and dodging the other colors. Still fun, well done!

Feedback in the style of other jams, since I'm better at giving feedback in that style.

Innovation: Honestly a very creative way to make the player's relationship with projectiles feel unique. Especially the twist added in 2nd room.

Graphics: The art was very readable and cute. Good stuff, no notes!

Audio: The music SLAPS. I love me some funky synth jams, and this had me grooving.

Fun: I cannot stress how excited I was to see the green sword in the second room. At an immediate glance I knew I would be juggling the items I could fit in my 2 hands, and my face lit up. I only wish there were more rooms with an increasing number of swords I had to manage, HA!

Theme/Limitation: Okay, so having the same item twice is way too clever. The absolute genius idea of making a red/blue sword that do the same thing to different projectiles- what an incredibly great take on this limitation.

Overall: It's a perfect jam game. Short and sweet with a really dang good twist halfway through. Bravo!
