Loved the art and game mechanics. The shifting mechanism was very interesting. Some more enemy types and an actual end goal would be great

The basic idea is great. It reminds me on the crazy labyrinth, a board game that I know from my childhood. I liked the music and sounds very much.

However, there was a design choice that really bothered me. I wished to move in the first place and than choose the next tile to move it into the maze, although I can understand why you choose the order "tile choice --> move". And It was sad for me, that I only could bring the pieces into specific places. Also I can understand the core of that choice, but I would have spared that choice for later levels. A little goal would have give a lot of space to the game.

Personally I hope that you keep working on that game a bit because it is really really cool and I would love to see how it improves.

Thanks for your feedback!

To be honest, we barely made it in time, since we started on Saturday (day 2 in European time zone). So in the end, we didn’t have any time left to test, if it would be better to mix up the order of actions.

You are right, the game could use any kind of goal or progression.

This is a really good game, personally, I love turn based games, if this game was a roguelite, with lots of different enemy types, different ways to kill, like a spear that you throw and lose inside the maze, I would play till the end
Congratulations for the game

Thank you.

Due to the time limit, we didn’t think too much about what genre we would go with this concept. “Roguelite” is definitely a good hint :)

I agree with some of the other comments; really great concept and some slight QoL tweaks would have made the overall experience slightly more efficient. I also love the art styl, SFX and  the music. Great work!

Thanks for playing!

The game concept is really fun, but it could be better in a more claustrophobic environment with more speed and juice. Very innovative take on the limitation, although I didn't get where fusion is envolved. Also how are the slimes moving? Did you code any algorithm to get them closer to the player?

Thanks for your feedback.

The enemies mostly walk random, but they try not to undo their last move.

Very cool concept! I was often confused about exactly what each move would do to the board, so if that could be made a bit clearer that would be nice. I feel like if you could insert the blocks anywhere on the outside of the grid it would be a lot more enjoyable.

Hey,

We actually restricted the insertion of tiles midway through the jam. We thought it would allow a bit more strategy by moving your player on or off the rows you can move.

How would you make it clearer? Something like add a tutorial phase to the start, or do you have a visual clue in mind? I’m trying to find out what exactly the problem was :)

Good stuff. Killing slimes and collecting health potions is enjoyable. The game is really fun. I think the gameplay would be even more fun if the speed of the game got doubled I feel like it takes ages waiting for the enemy's turn and the sliding animations to finish before getting closer to one of those green thingies and hitting it right in the face. So a faster game speed would be fantastic. Very cool concept though with the mixing of puzzling and slashing.

Good game overall. Well done.

Thanks for your precious feedback.

We were a bit afraid too much speed would confuse other people. Maybe a setting to increase the speed as soon as you have understood the game would be nice :)
