nice job !
very enjoyable
Excellent level design!
One problem is that the player's bullet seems to fly to infinity and hit enemies even when they are not awake(I mean, even when they are not shooting). That makes the game easier. I myself use this mechanic to avoid meeting with enemies haha.
And the music really makes your game even better.
There are so many levels! I'm glad I got to the end =) Here's my feedback:
+ I like that some levels are more vertical than others, and the fact that the first level has multiple paths.
- The parry mechanic could have a bit more lenience I think (its a bit too precise). Some visual feedback when you hit it would be nice (maybe just a quick color change and an sfx maybe?)
+ There's a lot of enemy variety, which is a nice touch.
- Some enemies shoot off-screen, which can be a bit annoying at times. However, you can also shoot them offscreen so it's all good I guess haha.
+ In a way, the epic music sets a funny note to already comic tone of the game.
I think a visual upgrade would do wonders for a game like this. Good job!
Thank you very much for the accurate review, in the next jam I will try to improve all these sides. Thanks again for the advice, I appreciate it.
I am not a platfomer gamer :,D i didn't progress a lot in the game so i'm no legit to rate ~ But even if i died a lot of time for stupid reasons, it was funny to play XD
Thank you so much for the review, glad you liked it
The game was pretty funny, and quite a lot of enemy types. I somehow glitched it and went past the next level trigger, so I was able to stand on top of the green platform. Also over shooting those dashes probably killed me the most
Thank you very much for the review, I will try to improve and modify the game after the jam.
I love the ugly art! the enemies and mechanics , im totally in love, Good job!
Thank you so much for the review
Funny and enjoyable. Good physics.
Thank you so much for the review
Really fun platforming mechanics, I enjoyed jumping on jump pads and dashing towards enemies! Different enemies also added a lot to the experience, great game and great trailer!
Thank you so much for the review :)
This is great, love the sense of humour evident throughout, the range of enemies and environmental hazards and the frequently tricky platforming.
Hugely impressed by the amount of content, too - there's a lot of levels for such a short jam, with a great sense of progression in difficulty and even secret areas! Particularly enjoyed the ongoing saga of Gerardo, from his cave in the first level to his eventual demise at the end.
I did find that the parry areas could be a little awkward with input at times, but could be a skill issue my end.
I found the use of the limitation to be both inspired and hilarious - love it :)
Thank you so much for the review and for playing the game to the end, it was really hard to do the whole 3 days haha.
Not even gonna lie this made me rage a bit towards the end. Either im bad at platformers or this is a rage game. Good overall though
Haha indeed some parts are quite complex. Thank you so much for your review.
The "Use of Limitation" section made me laugh so hard I just had to check this out. Then the trailer. Oh man. The levels are more fun than they have any right to be. Best game, 10/10
Thank you very much for the review :), the trailer at the beginning I also wanted to make it serious, then I was bored and I decided to make it what it is now, in my opinion it makes it even more lol.
Really nice level design, a lot of areas to explore and different enemy types, the art can benefit from an uplift but for a solo submission what matters most is enjoyability.
Best of luck.
Thank you so much for playing the game and leaving feedback, I really appreciate the advice.
i really love the mechanics and the level design of this game and has been the most fun I've had so far, a couple bits of constructive feedback however, could be the level assets could of used more detail but obviously a solo project can cause time restrictions so i understand. lastly you forgot to make the slider un interactable so I could keep getting my health back by just grabbing and moving the slider. lovely game though cant wait to see more ;)
Thank you so much for the feedback, I absolutely didn't notice that you could interact with the life bar, thank you very much for letting me know.
Thank
