Really unique game. I've never seen this idea before, at least not implemented like this. Incredible creativity involved here and I think the minimalist art style serves the game well. I had a hard time with overall feel and movement of the game. I agree with some of the other commenters that the camera could be a bit more zoomed out and the character sprite be a bit smaller. With a bit more refined movement, I think this game could be really fun. Excited to see where you go with this idea. It's got a lot of legs for sure!

- Awesome submission! One of the most creative games and theme implementations I've seen in this jam, I've not seen anything like this before. Awesome projet, I loved the puzzles. I'd make some better camera movement if I were you since it felt odd with the non moving background as well. Other than that, awesome idea!
How does the game fit into the theme?
In Glyph, you are presented with three words at the start of each level β but you get to choose only one. That single choice defines the tools youβll have to solve the level. Pick wisely, and the letters become a perfect kit of hammers, ladders, and portals. Pick poorly, and youβre stuck trying to reach the exit with an awkward, ill-fitting set of abilities. The game turns language into strategy and embodies the theme by showing how powerful β or limiting β one choice can be.
