How does the game fit into the theme?
You only get one jump. You need to be careful how you use your jump or you could lose your chance completely. This creates very tough situations that require patience and perfect timing. Once you use that single jump you need to make your way through the level without any vertical movement other than using the world around you. While checkpoints provide you with +1 jump you might not be able to make your way out of a bad spot if you already got yourself in tough position that would require multiple jumps. Make sure you make good use of it.

Challenging but nice Game . Good job!

Waiting for the platform to complete a full rotation only to fail a jump is hella annoying :). I think the checkpoints should function as checkpoints(i.e. reverting player to the last one after a fail), otherwise they should probably be called something else.
Nevertheless, good job!

The game is doable, although it seems like you can fail sometimes. Trust me I have fallen off many times during my playtesting sessions XD. It just requires timing and patience. I understand that it can be difficult but there are a set of people that enjoy games like Getting Over it and One Jump Ahead (getting to that point in the end). I do get your point regarding the names of the checkpoints I could just change it from a checkpoint into an item the player can pick up that grants him that +1 jump. But in regards to the reverting to the last checkpoint concept or the saving progress. I wanted the game to be punishing, like that having only 1 jump to use is more of a challenge (this is the point I said I will get back to, I want the game to be a challenge kind of like those rage inducing games. Honestly thank you for being so helpful and giving me great feedback. I will change the checkpoints into an item that just increases your counter of jumps. Have a great day, and once again thanks for being a good sport!

Honestly  I loved the platforming aspect of the game,  the art reminded me of fancypants. It came together well and I enjoyed the game!!!!!

Thank you so much for the great comment. You truly don't know how much this means to me!!! Glad you enjoyed it I was planning on expanding on it after the game jam is done. Make harder levels maybe. You are spot on with that visual inspiration I grew up playing fancypants a lot. Grew up loving that hand drawn feeling. Really happy you enjoyed it!
