I love the character design and the autumn scenery!  Animations were good too.  I think I reached the end, I made it to the tent on top of the cliff but I couldn't find anywhere to go after that.  Some critique, the ledges could be made more readable(I didn't have much trouble but still) and mapping jump and dash to other commands would probably feel better.  This is a great start and I love your art direction.

Thanks!! I've been getting similar feedback from the one you pointed it out so I'll definitely take these topics in consideration in my next creation. This was a prototype test as I struggle with coding so yes, the tent was the end, wanted to make a boss but figured it would be hard for me. I tried your entry and it is pretty solid I loved the combat.

This is a decent little entry. I like the look of the game and the contrasts in its colour palette. The character attack animation also looks pretty good.

Some thoughts:

- The game is tiny on my monitor, meaning it was hard to see and play the game. I couldn't find a way make it larger through settings or the window.

- I think the jump button should be separate from the movement keys. Making jump the 'z' button for example would make platforming easier on keyboard.

- You might consider adding some other sounds (like a whoosh for jump) to create a better feel to the movement.

Good luck with continuing the project!

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback! I'll definitely take those in consideration as they seem like good improvements! :D
